Senior Business Assistant

NuData Security is looking to hire a Senior Business Assistant

NuData Security is an award-winning passive biometrics and behavioral analytics company. Their flagship product, NuDetect, identifies authentic users from potential fraudsters based on their online, mobile app and smartphone interactions, flagging those that represent the highest risk.

NuDetect analyzes 97 billion online interactions yearly and is trusted by some of the largest global brands in the world to verify users with their own natural behaviors while offering a great customer experience. Recently, Mastercard acquired NuData Security Inc., a global technology company that helps businesses predict and prevent online and mobile fraud using location and behavior indicators. The team is located in Vancouver, BC.

The successful applicant would be responsible for providing support to the two Senior Vice Presidents. The role includes performing general administrative duties such as telephone coverage, scheduling of meetings, travel arrangements, expense reporting, calendar management, copying, ordering supplies, and maintaining department records. This person is also supports building a positive and collaborative environment and culture within the team.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Prepare correspondence, memoranda, reports, presentations or other assigned documentation in specified software package(s).
  • Schedule meetings and events, arrange conferences and ensure all meeting support is appropriately coordinated.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining departmental budget.
  • Administer programs, projects or processes specific to the operating unit served, and maintain spreadsheets or databases to monitor departmental information.
  • Research special topics as assigned.
  • Serve as administrative liaison with others within and outside the company.
  • Develop and produce reports as assigned.
  • Monitor and coordinate work of other employees or temporaries as needed.

Skills / Experience:

  • Possess executive administrative experience in a corporate environment interfacing with senior and executive level management and customers.
  • Able to act autonomously and solve problems creatively
  • Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to influence and persuade, to work collaboratively across functions, and to interact effectively with customers
  • Keen sense of urgency with a results-driven orientation
  • Ability to prioritize and discern what is truly important
  • Ability to learn and adapt to Mastercard’s operational and organizational infrastructure is necessary
  • Proficiency in MS office products (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook) and Oracle required;
  • Accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to function well in a busy and varied environment and work well under pressure.
