Customer Project Manager

Our Customer Project Manager will operate as a component of the customer development management team and is a key support personnel for our development operations and the director of customer development.

This is a role responsible for ensuring our projects are delivered on time, in scope, with quality and in an operationally sustainable fashion. They will be responsible for accomplishing this in an efficient, expedient fashion.

You’ll report to the Director of Customer Development and work closely with the development, analytical, integration, and customer success teams. The focus of this role is on the achievement of customer outcomes through consistent, intelligent project planning. You’ll be responsible for integrating with our agile sprint teams and working to identify customer requirements, resources required to meet those requirements, and managing the work plans and schedules required to deliver on the project.

Key responsibilities

  • Developing project plans for multi-team projects
  • Maintaining project deliverable schedules and adjusting dates as required
  • Verifying delivery by working with stakeholders to ensure their outcomes have been met
  • Planning, coordinating, assisting with and scheduling customer-directed releases
  • Coordinating, solving, communicating and correcting project status
  • Project reporting and metrics tracking across our customer projects
  • Collecting requirements and writing as required
  • Participation in ongoing organizational development and improvement
  • Process and policy development and implementation as directed

Key requirements

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, time management, and planning skills
  • Extensive practical experience planning, organizing, and monitoring multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to learn and comprehend technical topics and discuss them at a product level

Bonus abilities

  • Basic knowledge of web application development
  • Basic knowledge of eCommerce, Financial and Software as a Service (SaaS) environments
  • Conceptual understanding of information technology, information security and other topics
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence
